20 30 & 50 Amp Plugs?

For all you new campers out there and a review for the seasoned veterans we are gonna talk a little about RV plugs and what size I need to be using.  If your a 50 amp unit its a no brainer, plug your unit in and hope it has enough juice to run both your air conditioners, your 3 daughters hair straighteners and what ever is keeping your beverages cold working. If your a 30 amp unit and your camping in a season in which your A/C unit isn't needed you should be fine. If its the summer time and your site has a 50 amp plug, get an adapter from 50-30 and use the 50 plug. This may or may not help you if its hotter out than two rats wrestling in a wool sock and your A/C unit is creating Niagra Falls down the side of your pop-up and making your entire bed wet. Your dog is so hot he is Licking the DinoVite Container. So If your not completely sure when making a reservation on what you need ask the office when you call. They know the campground the best and can help you in any way possible. If your not sure what the different plugs look like I have enclosed a photo for your viewing pleasure. If your in need of a A/C unit contact your local dealer for information. Most dealers can install one while you wait! Remember... If its really hot out and the campground is full, you might wanna be careful how many appliances you run in tandem with each other to lower your draw. For instance Evanne at RVCooking would never straighten her hair while using a electric griddle with both a/c units running on a 30 oulet in Pheonix in August.
